is in the heart of Caerwent, a small village in South Wales famed for its Roman ruins, which are some of the best preserved in Europe.
Caerwent is the perfect base for enjoying the many attractions in the surrounding areas. There are plenty of golf courses ; the Celtic Manor, host of the 2010 Ryder Cup, Dewstow, a mere 1/4 of a mile away and St Pierre. With excellent rail and road links to some of the best shopping malls in the Country including the newly built St David's Centre in Cardiff and Cabot Circus in Bristol, shoppers are spoiled for choice. Chepstow racecourse is only 5 miles away and there are hundreds of other attractions close by including Chepstow Castle, Tintern Abbey, extensive woodland walks, fishing and less than a mile away David Broom's Equestian Centre.
The Coach and Horses has been run as an Inn since the 17th century and Annie and Brian took over as the latest landlords in 2002. We pride ourselves in good beer, friendly service, real food and above all an enthusiastic welcome every time. |
